My stamping storage ideas

Let me start by saying "HAPPY THANKSGIVING!" I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I don't have a lot of time to be creative nor a lot of space to store my over-abundance of scrapbooking supplies! I have come up with a few ideas on how to maximize my space which allows me to find my stuff quicker and in return allows more creative time!

My first idea is storing those handy clear stamps. Yes, they do take up less space than the wooden-backed stamps, but as I started to accumulate many of these, they began to be a pain. I was constantly misplacing them, or I would keep stacks of them in my stamping drawer, but they would fall over every time I opened the drawer. One day it hit me to store them in a book or binder of some sort, but how?! BASEBALL CARD HOLDER! I put small self-adhering stamps in the pockets of baseball card protective sheets. I also put a paper in each little pocket telling about the stamp, who manufactured it, the website of the manufacturer, and the item number (in case I need a new one).

Along with this folder I also keep a catalogue of all the stamps I own in a different 3-prong folder. I take a blank 8.5"x11" sheet of paper and stamp what I can fit onto one side of the sheet. Sometimes I will put just one kit on a page, or categorize them by theme (i.e. Holidays, birthdays, etc.). I keep all of my stamping stuff together in plastic totes that I picked up from Walmart, including the folders.

That's all the clever ideas I can share with you today! Hopefully I can post pictures of my folders soon. Have a good evening!
